2. Next, we tackle the pesto. Throw your basil leaves, pine nuts (or walnuts if that’s what you’ve got!), garlic cloves, parmesan cheese, and olive oil into a food processor or blender. Pulse until it's a smooth, vibrant green paste. Don’t over-process it or it'll get too oily!
3. If your pesto seems too thick, add a tiny bit more olive oil, a tablespoon at a time, until you get the consistency you like. A little goes a long way!
4. Now, let's make it creamy! In a mixing bowl, stir together your pesto, cream cheese (softened – super important!), and mayonnaise. Mix until everything is perfectly combined and smooth. It's basically like a super-smooth, flavorful green cloud!
